Turning Stone Resort will once again host some of the world’s finest PGA TOUR players for the Oneida Indian Nation’s second Turning Stone Resort Championship, scheduled for September 29 – October 5.

With the region’s scenic dazzling autumn vistas and our world class golf facilities/course as the backdrop, there are a multitude of reasons to be involved in what is now one of the premier tournaments on professional golfing’s calendar. Our partnership with the PGA TOUR and the $6 million purse, with more than $1 million to the champion, creates the competition excitement.

A Tom Fazio venue with spectacular views and pristine conditioning, Atunyote®, at only two years old, already has earned the highest of ratings in Robb Report, Travel and Leisure Golf, Golfweek, and Golf Magazine. Our top-rated resort property (named Conde Nast Johansen’s “Best Resort” in the United States and Canada for 2006) features numerous restaurants, a selection of luxurious rooms, and amenities including top-name entertainers in concert, a destination-resort spa, and tennis pavilion. Another reason this is a “can’t miss” event: ample “off the greens” time for side trips and activities. From visiting Revolutionary War and Erie Canal-era historic sites, to apple picking and cider tasting, to sampling Iroquois culture, to salmon fishing, sailboating, ballooning, and hiking in the Adirondacks, there is a wide array of activities to enjoy.

We look forward to seeing you soon for a unique championship PGA TOUR event within luxurious surroundings, and to another exciting year of pro tournament play.
